When I first started purchasing Close to My Heart Thin Cut albums, I thought it would be easy to keep them in a 6x8 album using separate 6x8 and 6x8 pages with two horizontal 4x6 sleeves. This allows me to browse quickly pages and find each specific bucket. Fast forward years later and the books, now the books have gotten tougher. I need to implement a more organized approach.
Due to the number of fine-cuts I've received over the years, finding a fine-cut die near my heart becomes difficult and time-consuming. I decided to put my time together, separate them and label the discs with something more specific than "fine cuts". I took out 6 x 8 albums from my club room cabinet and started sorting out the 6 x 8 pages where I keep the individual fine cuts. Albums got heavier and heavier due to the metallic and magnetic foil. The fine cut stamp sets are kept together in the CTMH stamp organizers.
As I started making stacks, it became clear to me to distinguish letters and stamps from basic shapes. Then the main forms were separated from the more sophisticated dice. Edges, scallops, leaves, snowflakes, etc. They have their own books. At some point, I'll probably make a fourth album with only natural shapes: flowers, leaves, etc.
